WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF A WELL CUT RADIANT?

"A well cut radiant is one that spreads its carat weight and has the right life."

This was the definition provided by our founder, Henry Grossbard, and it is the guiding principle that we apply to every Original Radiant Cut Diamond. Note that this definition is visual - what matters most are those characteristics that you can see. In other words, our diamond gives off such eye-catching brilliance that your friends cannot help but notice it.

Each Original Radiant Cut Diamond is cut to meet the strictest proportion standards, to ensure that it looks as large as it should, and is proportioned correctly with respect to all its dimensions. However, even many radiant cuts that "have the right measurements" do not qualify as Original Radiant Cuts because they fail to meet Henry Grossbard's ultimate test. They just don't look nice enough.

The ultimate test is visual - we carefully examine each diamond. The Original Radiant Cut name means that not only is every diamond properly proportioned, but each diamond has passed the final visual examination by our team of radiant cut experts. Only through this process can a diamond become an exquisite Original Radiant Cut.
